The Beetle Bar in Bilbao

"I think this place is underrated. Given previous brunch experiences I would rate this a 4.7. The sandwiches were delicious, very well priced and filling. The Bonito sandwich was a pleasant surprise, as we picked it based on looks and didn't know that it was fish. It was the most delicious of the sandwiches we ordered! We also got a couple of slices of bizcocho (pineapple and apple) and they were both delicious! My only suggestion for improvement would be to make iced coffees with cold brew, so they're not as watery, but other than that, it was a perfect breakfast experience."

"Great deal. Juice, coffee or tea and tomatoes, avocado and toast for 7€. No nonsense staff. Good toilets. Food fresh and well presented. The kitchen closed today, Sunday at around noon. Then they had sandwiches and Spanish tortilla to eat."

"Everything you see on the table is finished. All ingredients were so Mediterranean vibes and fresh. We own an olive oil grove back in Türkiye and I approve the freshness and style of breakfast. Of course there is not plenty of ingredients like a Turkish breakfast but this is Spanish style. We just went with the two ‘menus’ on the board. The tastes were wonderful, from the bread to the orange juice. My friend was about to buy 1 liter of it if we would not be touring all day. The croissant with nutella was also so fresh, crisp and delicious. I guess the nutella is different than the one produced in Türkiye, it was way better. It is a small, quiet place. Everyone inside was Spanish (maybe cuz of off-season). Central. Service is smiling."

"TLDR: Great cafe with cheap/tasty vegan breakfast 8.50 euro. Cute little spot just on the corner of the square. Incredibly nice vegan breakfast, simple with avocado toast also comes with tomatoes two slices of bread, orange juice and a coffee/tea of choice (no plant milk surcharge in this deal). All for the price of 8.50 euro. I would highly recommend it. Has lovely staff, the food came out within 5-10 mins very quick. Nice energy and style within the cafe with space to sit outside (under cover) as well."
